Bathrooms can represent an interesting challenge for lighting design. Like kitchens, bathrooms require practical and functional vanity table with lighted mirror solutions for a space oriented mainly to tasks. The preparation requires the right amount of well-placed lighting. Too little and you will not be able to see what you are doing. Too much lighting or poor positioning can cause glare problems. However, like kitchens, you also want something beautiful.
Two measures to remember when selecting accessories for your bathroom are CRI and color temperature. In terms of CRI, choose a device with a high CRI. Incandescent and halogen vanity table with lighted mirror sources always have the best CRI – 100, which means they represent colors more accurately. If you want to use a low power LED or a fluorescent light source, make sure your selection has a CRI or at least 90. This provides excellent color reproduction in the bathroom setup.
For color temperature, try to select vanity table with lighted mirror with a warm color temperature. Many consider that warm color temperatures are more favorable than cold ones, because they are similar to incandescent lights that most people have become accustomed to. When I meet with clients, I work with them directly to determine the color temperature option they like the most.
